Juggling

All this studying leaves little time to write
little time for looking
and the hurredy rush of it
wipes, wipes
wipes words blurrily into desperate repetition
and the kisses scrabble for thinking space
in the hotcavern domed-roof cavity of the
big top.

  1. Yes finding time to write is always the challenge. But I’m glad that you’re back.

  2. (((((EBBY)))))) I have missed you. Please find a little time for scribbling. How wonderful it is to hear from you. What are you studying?

    • Hello English Literature and Language BA Hons It strangles me and strips delicious novels of all their beauty and tingles. Lord, Paul, I hate it, it steals my words like nothing real and I’m left, flapping and gaping on the tide-line. I have to do it to earn some money as although I am a good teacher, I have no formally recognised qualification, and therefore, earn a pittance. To be paid to write is something which is as unreal as forever, so I need to be qualified. I miss writing so much, I feel gaggaed and bound and isolated and dull.

How are things with you? I read your blog frequently, revelling in the old stuff, tasting the new.

      Much love.
